The AK47-Imperial Dragon is one of the most popular weapons in CrossFire: Legends. Despite the large variety of selections when it comes to the AK47 series, the Imperial Dragon remains many players' favorite. Ever since the Shadowless was banned in pro matches, some pro players have started to choose the AK47-Imperial Dragon as their go-to weapon during matches. Now, let's take a look at the AK47-Imperial Dragon's detailed specs.

The AK47-Imperial Dragon's Armor Correction is 20%.

(Armor Correction: The amount of damage reduced when enemies are wearing a helmet and/or vest. The lower the Armor Correction, the less damage reduced after penetrating a helmet or vest. Note: Helmets and vests provide no protection for hands or legs.)

Summary: In this category, the AK47-Imperial Dragon is the same as the other AK47s.

2.Distance Correction

The damage to the head is 4x the damage to the body. If the target is wearing a helmet or armor, the damage will be 80%.

Ultra Long-Range: The damage to the chest is 33 (very rare due to the ultra-long range).

Summary: Like all the other AK47s, distances have a minimum effect on the AK47-Imperial Dragon's damage.

3.Bullet Penetration (damage percentage after penetrating an obstacle)

72%

Summary: In this category, the AK47-Imperial Dragon is the same as the other AK47s. Note that, however, the number above is based on a maximum level of the Penetration specialization.

4.Basic Stats

Firing Rate: 556 RPM

Reload Speed: 1.40s

Movement Speed: 88.46

Weapon Switch Speed: 0.50s

Magazine: 38/119

(The movement speed value while holding a knife is set as 100 and used as the base value. Movement speeds while holding other weapons are based on this base value.)

Summary:

The AK47-Imperial Dragon's reload time is the same as most of the purple AK47s—1.4s. It's a decent speed—not the fastest, but not the slowest, either. The AK47-Imperial Dragon has an extremely short weapon switch time—0.5s. The same stats for Shadowless and Fury are 0.6s and 0.63s, respectively. The AK47-Imperial Dragon beats VVIP AKs in this regard. That said, some other purple AK47s have a weapon switch time of 0.5s—OB Commemorative Edition, Jasmine, Twilight Jasmine, SS, Gunslinger, S1 Champion Commemorative Edition, Xmas, etc. The Imperial Dragon brings no improvements compared to most of the AKs when it comes to movement speed. Like most of the purple AKs, the Imperial Dragon has 38 bullets in the main magazine and 119 bullets in the spare magazines (maximum refinement level). Note: Adds 5 bullets in the main magazine once the Extended Mag (AR) specialization reaches its maximum level; adds 40 bullets in the spare magazines once the Abundant Ammo specialization has reached its maximum level.

5.Ballistics

When it comes to ballistics, the AK47-Imperial Dragon is more or less the same as all the other AK47s. The bullet marks on the wall are from a full magazine—you can take them as reference.

6.Summary

The AK47-Imperial Dragon is hardly the greatest of AKs compared to Blue Porcelain, Earl, Rosa, Shadowless, Fury, etc. But it's very balanced and has no obvious weaknesses. On top of that, weapons such as Earl, Rosa, and Blue Porcelain aren't always available in the shop, so when you don't have enough gems to buy the Shadowless or Fury, your best option would still be either the Imperial Dragon or the SS. A free but valuable tip in the end—if you happen to be a member of the poor people's club and consider the Imperial Dragon expensive, too, you should get yourself an AK47-Twilight Jasmine from the clan shop. It has one fewer bullet in the main magazine and three fewer bullets in the spare magazines, which is hardly noticeable.
